I'll be the first to admit, I'm a sucker for a good shifter story, and Real Men Shift: Volume One delivers. Kendall Taylor's narration is nothing short of phenomenal – her voice is like butter for your ears, and she brings each character to life with a level of nuance that's simply stunning. But what really sets this anthology apart is Celia Kyle's writing. She has a gift for crafting characters that feel real, with real motivations and desires. I found myself completely invested in Mason and Lucy's story, and the supporting cast is just as compelling. If I have any criticisms, it's that the supporting stories – while enjoyable – sometimes feel a little overshadowed by the main narrative. Additionally, a few of the sound effects felt a tad overdone, but these are minor quibbles in an otherwise top-notch production. Overall, I'd highly recommend Real Men Shift: Volume One to anyone looking for a sizzling, engaging listen.
