Rosetown

As I listened to Rosetown narrated by Lisa Flanagan, I was immediately transported to a simpler time and place, where the bonds of friendship and family are the most precious treasures. Flanagan's voice is like a warm embrace, perfectly capturing the tender emotions and the sense of wonder that permeate Rylant's story. Her ability to convey the characters' excitement and vulnerability is remarkable, making it easy to connect with their experiences. The pacing is gentle and unhurried, allowing the listener to savor each moment and reflect on the lessons imparted by the story. One minor critique would be the occasional lack of distinction between character voices, which might have added an extra layer of depth to the narration. However, this minor flaw does little to detract from the overall listening experience, which is truly delightful and heartwarming.
