Shadowfires

As someone who enjoys the works of Dean Koontz, I was excited to dive into Shadowfires. Jane Oppenheimer's narration was a delightful surprise, as her rich voice and impeccable timing brought the story to life. The characters were well-developed, with complex motivations and intriguing backstories. The plot kept me on the edge of my seat, with unexpected twists and turns that left me gasping for breath. However, I found the pacing to be a bit inconsistent at times, with some chapters feeling rushed and others dragging on a bit too long. Nonetheless, Shadowfires is a must-listen for fans of the horror, mystery, and thriller genres, and Jane Oppenheimer's stellar performance only adds to the overall experience.
