Editor's Review ★★★★

AudioBook Atlas

I was drawn into 'Something in the Water' from the start, thanks to Patricia R. Floyd's engaging narration. Floyd brings a warmth and authenticity to Billie's voice, making her relatable and sympathetic. The story itself is a complex exploration of family, power, and the consequences of our choices. While the pacing is generally well-handled, I felt that a few of the supporting characters could have been fleshed out a bit more. Overall, I appreciated the audiobook's thought-provoking themes and Floyd's skilled narration, which made for a compelling listen. At 9 hours and 39 minutes, the production is well-paced, and Floyd's narration keeps the story moving. My only other critique is that the ending felt a bit rushed, but overall, it's a minor quibble in an otherwise engaging and well-crafted audiobook.
