Stroke of Midnight: A Cinderella Novel

I devoured 'Stroke of Midnight' in a single listen, and it's not just because of its length. The audiobook's unique appeal lies in its ability to keep you guessing, squirming, and utterly invested. The narration is exceptional, with Lloyd's Constantine being as cold and commanding as you'd expect, and Winters' Cinderella exuding a quiet strength that's incredibly compelling. The story is a wild ride, filled with unexpected twists and turns that had me questioning my own moral compass. While the pacing could have been a tad smoother, and some of the plot points are a bit predictable, these are minor quibbles in an otherwise gripping listen. This isn't your grandmother's Cinderella, and that's what makes it so darn captivating.
