As an editor, I'm thrilled to dive into the world of Super Powereds, and Year 2 does not disappoint. Kyle McCarley's narration is the perfect complement to Hayes' writing, bringing a level of enthusiasm and energy to the story that's infectious. I found myself fully immersed in the world of Lander University, cheering on the students as they navigate the challenges of fame, friendship, and growing up. The story is cleverly constructed, with unexpected twists and turns that keep listeners on the edge of their seats. However, I did find the pacing to be a bit uneven at times, with some scenes feeling a bit rushed and others feeling overly drawn out. Additionally, some of the supporting characters feel a bit one-dimensional, which can make it difficult to connect with them on a deeper level. Despite these minor quibbles, Super Powereds: Year 2 is an outstanding audiobook that's a must-listen for fans of action, adventure, and coming-of-age stories.
