AudioBook Atlas

Preece's narration is a delight, capturing the wit and wisdom of Socrates, who, despite arriving late, dominates the conversation. The pacing is perfect, building to a crescendo with Socrates' famous 'Ladder of Love' speech. However, I wish Preece had differentiated the voices of the other speakers more; they sometimes blur into one. Also, the production could have used a bit more atmosphere - a touch of background noise to truly immerse us in ancient Athens. Still, this is a must-listen for anyone interested in philosophy, history, or just a good debate.
