Tempted by the Viking

As an audiobook editor, I was thoroughly captivated by Tempted by the Viking's unique blend of small-town charm and supernatural intrigue. Christopher Rourke's performance was the perfect complement to AJ Tipton's engaging writing, bringing the characters to life in a way that was both authentic and endearing. I particularly appreciated the way Rourke handled the dialogue, injecting a subtle hint of mischief into Henry's voice when he's around Kimberly's teacher – it's a small detail, but it adds a lot to the listener's emotional investment in the story. One of my only criticisms is that the supporting cast, while well-intentioned, feels a bit one-dimensional at times. The Viking's backstory, in particular, feels like it's glossed over a bit too quickly, leaving listeners wanting more. However, these minor quibbles are easily forgiven when faced with the sheer charm of the central romance. Overall, I'd highly recommend Tempted by the Viking to anyone looking for a lighthearted, feel-good listen with a healthy dose of paranormal spice.
