Tim Gregory and Aimee Lilly’s narration is a standout here, elevating what’s already a solid middle-grade mystery series. Gregory, in particular, has a knack for making even the most mundane lines sound urgent, while Lilly’s voice adds a warmth that balances the suspense. The two narrators switch cleanly between stories, so you never feel jarred when the scene shifts. That said, the production could’ve used a bit more polish in the audio mixing—some of the sound effects (like footsteps or door creaks) felt a tad overemphasized in quieter moments, which occasionally pulled me out of the story. The pacing is generally excellent, though the second mystery, *The Mystery in the Cave*, drags in the middle when the kids are wandering through the tunnels. Still, the payoff is worth it once the real action kicks in. Overall, this is a reliable choice for young mystery fans, especially those who appreciate stories rooted in clever problem-solving rather than supernatural scares.
