I devoured 'The Cowboy Next Door' in a single listen, thanks in no small part to Felicity Munroe's engaging narration. She nails Leda's snarky humor and vulnerability, while the cowboy's gruff charm is perfectly pitched. The story moves at a steady clip, balancing witty banter and tender moments. I loved how Snopek doesn't shy away from Leda's real-world struggles as a single mom. My only critique? I wish we'd seen more of the cowboy's past to fully understand his motivations. But that's a small quibble in an otherwise delightful listen.
