My favorite? *The Sexy One*, where York’s delivery of the hero’s flustered exasperation had me cackling during my commute. That said, this isn’t a flawless collection. A couple of the stories (*cough* *The Knocked Up Plan*) lean a little too hard on miscommunication tropes, and Blakely’s signature “witty banter” occasionally tips into *too* many pop-culture references (do we really need another *Friends* callback in 2024?). But the highs far outweigh the nitpicks. The production quality is top-tier—no jarring volume shifts or awkward pauses—and the chemistry between narrators in the dual-POV scenes is *chef’s kiss*. If you’re a romance audiobook veteran, you’ll appreciate the lack of recycled tropes (no billionaires or amnesia plots here), just sharp, character-driven stories where the emotional payoff feels earned. My only warning? Don’t start this during a workday. You *will* lose hours.
