Krause's narration is a delight, her ability to differentiate characters with distinct voices and inflections making the story all the more engaging. The pacing is perfect, never rushing through Nesbit's clever wordplay, yet keeping the story moving at a pace that holds young listeners' attention. The tale itself is a charming, if slightly bewildering, mix of the magical and the mundane, with a twisty plot that's sure to please. My only critique is that the resolution feels a tad too neat, but it's a minor quibble in an otherwise enchanting listen.
