As someone who thoroughly enjoyed the first book in this series, I was eager to dive into The Last Chance Convenience Store. The narrator brings a warmth and authenticity to the characters that make you feel like you're right there in the store, listening in on their conversations. The story itself is a delightful blend of humor and heartache, with a plot that keeps you guessing until the very end. What I particularly appreciated was the way Ho-Yeon develops the relationships between the characters, showing how even the most unlikely friendships can change lives. There were moments, however, where the pacing felt a bit off, and some of the twists seemed a bit predictable. But overall, it's a thoroughly enjoyable listen that I'd recommend to anyone who loves a good story about the power of human connection.
