Editor's Review ★★★☆

AudioBook Atlas

I was thoroughly enthralled by The Last Conclave, and Simon Alison's narration was a big part of that. His voice has a way of drawing you in, making you feel like you're right there in the midst of the action. The story itself is full of unexpected twists and turns, and Cooper's writing is top-notch. One thing that did strike me as a bit odd was the pacing in the middle section - it felt a bit slow, and I found myself wondering when things would pick up again. However, the payoff was well worth it, and the ending was both surprising and satisfying. My only other critique would be that some of the supporting characters felt a bit one-dimensional, but overall, this was a minor quibble in an otherwise excellent listen.
