Her Lucy starts clipped and proper, her vowels rounded with the polish of old money, but as the story progresses, her voice roughens with frustration, then smolders with something far more dangerous. The chemistry between characters isn’t just in the dialogue—it’s in the *pauses*, the way Jayden lets a sentence trail off like a caress or snaps a retort like a whip. That said, the pacing *will* test some listeners.
