The Queen of the Cicadas

As someone who appreciates a good horror story, I found myself completely engrossed in The Queen of the Cicadas. Maggie Schneider's narration was outstanding, with her Southern drawl adding an extra layer of creepiness to the story. I particularly enjoyed the way she portrayed the main character, Belinda, who is both strong and vulnerable at the same time. The pacing was well-done, with the tension building steadily throughout the audiobook, making it impossible to predict what would happen next. However, I felt that the ending was a bit rushed and could have been more satisfying with a few more details. Despite that minor issue, The Queen of the Cicadas is a must-listen for fans of the horror and occult genres.
