As a fan of fantasy romance, I was hooked from the very first chapter of The Red Lily. Julie-Ann Elliott's narration is simply superb, with a range of accents and voices that add to the world-building and character development. However, there were a few moments where the pacing felt a bit uneven, particularly during the climactic final scenes. While it didn't detract from my overall enjoyment of the audiobook, I did find myself wanting to rewind a few times to fully absorb the complex plot twists.
