I was blown away by 'The Second Chance Holiday Club' - it's a true holiday treat in audio form. From the opening chapters, I was swept up in Evelyn's story, and Rachel Atkins' narration was a big part of that. She has a way of bringing out the humor and vulnerability in the characters, and her voice is just so pleasant to listen to. One of the things that really stood out to me was the way the story balanced lighthearted moments with more serious themes. It's a delicate balance to strike, but Galley pulls it off beautifully. If I have one criticism, it's that the supporting cast sometimes feels a bit one-dimensional - I would have loved to see more development from some of the secondary characters. But overall, this is a minor quibble in an otherwise fantastic audiobook. If you're looking for a holiday listen that will leave you feeling uplifted and inspired, 'The Second Chance Holiday Club' is an excellent choice.
