As an avid listener of audiobooks, I was thrilled to dive into The Serpent's Shadow, the third installment in Rick Riordan's Kane Chronicles series. Narrated by Grace Capeless and James Fouhey, this audiobook is a delightful listen that kept me engaged from start to finish. Capeless and Fouhey's performances are nothing short of brilliant; their voices and intonations perfectly capture the personalities of Carter and Sadie, while their seamless transitions between characters create a vivid, immersive world. The pacing of the audiobook is excellent, with just the right amount of tension and excitement to keep me on the edge of my seat. One critique I have is that the sound effects, while impressive, occasionally distract from the story. However, this is a minor issue, and overall, The Serpent's Shadow is a fantastic audiobook that I highly recommend.
