Foxley's performance is nothing short of outstanding. She captures Callie's fear, determination, and love for Gracie with such nuance that you'll feel every emotion right alongside them. The pacing is perfect, building tension and suspense without feeling rushed. However, some of the world-building could have been more fleshed out, and a few characters felt one-dimensional. But these minor critiques do little to detract from the overall impact of this compelling audiobook.
