Bethan Rose Young and Ffion Aynsley’s dual narration is both a strength and a potential pitfall; the former takes on the ex-wife’s perspective with an understated but powerful voice, while the latter channels her daughter’s youthful enthusiasm. The blend of these two voices creates a dynamic tension that propels listeners through the narrative. However, there are occasional moments where the pacing feels rushed, particularly during some of the more introspective monologues. Despite this, the story’s exploration of love, loss, and redemption keeps you engaged from start to finish.
