The Success Code

As someone who's been through my fair share of career development books, I found 'The Success Code' to be a breath of fresh air. Lees' approach is refreshingly honest and often surprising, like when he argues that 'networking' as we know it is largely a waste of time. Phil Fox's narration is spot on, delivering Lees' sometimes controversial ideas with just the right amount of conviction. The pacing is steady, allowing each chapter's key takeaways to sink in. My only critique? I wish Lees had spent more time on the 'soft skills' he advocates for, like emotional intelligence. But that's a minor quibble in an otherwise excellent listen. This audiobook is a game-changer, and I can't recommend it enough.
