As someone who's spent their fair share of time on the dugout, I was excited to dive into The Youth Baseball Handbook, and I wasn't disappointed. Phil Parker's narration is top-notch, bringing a level of enthusiasm and energy to the audiobook that's infectious and engaging. I particularly appreciated how Parker broke down complex concepts into bite-sized pieces, making it easy to follow along and absorb even the most technical information. One of the things that really stood out to me was the way Parker wove together expert advice from experienced coaches and players, providing a wealth of valuable insights that I wouldn't have found anywhere else. If I have any criticism, it's that the pacing could have benefited from a bit more balance – at times, the audiobook felt a bit too focused on conveying information, with some sections feeling a bit rushed. However, this is a minor quibble in what is otherwise a fantastic audiobook that's sure to delight both kids and parents alike.
