I was drawn into This Close to Okay from the start, thanks in part to the engaging narration by Kamali Minter and Zeno Robinson. The story is a compelling examination of intimacy, identity, and the human experience. One aspect that stood out to me was the way the author explores the protagonist's inner world, creating a rich and immersive listening experience. The pacing is well-balanced, although at times I felt that some scenes could have been drawn out a bit more for added emotional impact. Overall, the production is polished, and the narration is superb. My only other critique is that some of the supporting characters could have been fleshed out a bit more. Overall, a great listen for fans of literary fiction.
