I was hooked from the very first sentence, and Caroline Shaffer's narration only served to enhance my enjoyment. Her ability to switch between accents and tones to differentiate characters was impressive, and her pacing was spot-on, keeping the story moving at a thrilling pace. The story itself is a delightful blend of humor, action, and romance, with just the right amount of suspense to keep you on the edge of your seat. My only critique is that I wish there had been more development of the secondary characters, as they sometimes felt overshadowed by Violet and the imp. But overall, TimeReaping in Deadwood is a fantastic listen that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a unique, entertaining audiobook.
