Jennifer Aquino delivers a captivating performance that perfectly complements Evan Dicken’s imaginative writing. Her voice is versatile enough to handle the range of emotions required by the diverse cast, from the noble and proud samurai to the cunning and resourceful rebels. The pacing is spot-on, maintaining tension throughout with only brief moments of lull—a testament to Dicken's tight storytelling. However, a few unnecessary plot threads could have been trimmed for an even tighter narrative focus. Despite this, 'To Chart the Clouds' remains an engrossing audiobook that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end.
