Twice in a Lifetime

I devoured 'Twice in a Lifetime' in a single listen, and I'm not ashamed to admit I did so with a box of tissues by my side. The story is a beautiful blend of sweet and steamy, with just the right amount of angst to keep things interesting. Eaton and Solo's narration is top-notch, with a chemistry that's palpable even when their characters are at odds. I loved how they brought out the subtle complexities of the characters, making them feel like real people with real histories and emotions. The pacing is spot-on, with a slow burn that builds to an intense, emotional climax. My only critique is that I wish we'd gotten a bit more backstory on the hero's military experience, as it felt a bit glossed over at times. But that's a minor quibble in an otherwise excellent audiobook. If you're a fan of small-town romances with heart, don't miss this one.
