When Flowers Weep

I was drawn into 'When Flowers Weep' from the very first chapter, thanks in no small part to Linda Velwest's engaging narration. She effortlessly captures the essence of each character, from the determined garden shop owner to the quirky locals. The pacing is steady, allowing the story to unfold naturally, with a satisfying balance between suspense and character development. Boutall's exploration of the bee crisis is both informative and poignant, making this audiobook a unique and important listen. However, I did find some of the secondary plotlines a tad predictable, but they didn't detract from my overall enjoyment. This is a story that's as much about community and resilience as it is about saving the bees, and it's a message that's beautifully delivered.
