I was immediately drawn into Britton's world, her voice so authentic and relatable that I felt like I was right there with her. Norris's narration is exceptional, capturing the nuances of Britton's emotions and bringing Zimmer's vivid descriptions to life. The pacing is steady, allowing the story to unfold naturally, with just the right amount of tension and release to keep me hooked. The only critique I have is that some secondary characters could have been more fully developed, but that's a minor quibble in an otherwise outstanding audiobook. This is a story about finding family in the most unexpected places, and it's one that will leave you feeling hopeful and inspired.
