I've had the pleasure of listening to James Langton's work on numerous occasions, and it's a consistent delight to hear him bring a new story to life. 'Will's True Wish' is no exception, with Langton's nuanced performance bringing a welcome depth and texture to the narrative. His thoughtful handling of the supporting cast and their intricate relationships adds a richness to the story that's simply captivating. My only quibble lies in the occasional pacing lull, where the storytelling momentum feels slightly diminished – however, this barely registers as a dent in an otherwise masterful performance. The dognapping mystery itself is cleverly constructed, with Burrowes skillfully dropping breadcrumbs and red herrings to keep listeners engaged.
