I was particularly impressed by the way Jayston handled the complex diplomatic maneuvering that led to the formation of the Grand Alliance - it's a story that's both gripping and nuanced. My only criticism is that the production could have benefited from a more nuanced sound design to enhance the emotional impact of certain key moments. Nevertheless, this is a must-listen for anyone interested in the history of the Second World War.
