XV: (Fifteen)

I was hooked from the first minute. Caitlin Allgood Knight's narration is nothing short of exceptional. She effortlessly switches between Ellen's strength and vulnerability, and her captor's unsettling calm. The story is a thrilling cat-and-mouse game, with Sky cleverly revealing the feud's origins just enough to keep you guessing. The pacing is near-perfect, with tension building steadily until the explosive climax. My only critique is that some secondary characters could have been more developed, but it's a minor quibble in an otherwise gripping listen.
