I've never been more grateful for a narrator's ability to convey calm and chaos than I was listening to Laura Lockwood bring Alto's story to life. Her steady, almost clinical tone as Alto describes the empty ship is unsettling, while her voice's descent into panic is genuinely chilling. The story itself is a slow burn, but it's worth it for the payoff. Piper masterfully builds tension, and just when you think you've got a handle on what's happening, she pulls the rug out from under you. My only critique? The pacing could've been tighter in the middle, but the ending more than makes up for it. If you're a fan of atmospheric horror that'll make you question your own mind, this is a must-listen.
