About This Audiobook

In '48 Hours to Kill', Andrew Bourelle masterfully crafts a high-stakes thriller that's as intense as it is ingenious. Narrator David Bendena's gravelly voice and measured pace perfectly complement the tense, claustrophobic atmosphere of a Nevada prison. What sets this audiobook apart is Bourelle's clever plot twists and the moral ambiguity of its protagonist, Ethan Lockhart, who's serving time for armed robbery but finds himself entangled in a deadly game of cat and mouse. It's not just a mystery, it's a race against time with a ticking clock that's as palpable as it is unsettling.

Editor's Review ★★★★☆

AudioBook Atlas

I was hooked from the first chapter. David Bendena's narration is spot-on, capturing the grit and desperation of Ethan Lockhart, a man trying to navigate the treacherous waters of prison life and an impending threat. The story moves at a breakneck pace, with enough twists and turns to keep you guessing until the very end. However, I must admit, some of the secondary characters felt a bit one-dimensional, which was my only gripe in an otherwise stellar audiobook. The production quality is top-notch, with clear audio and no distracting background noise. If you're a fan of thrillers that keep you on the edge of your seat, '48 Hours to Kill' is a must-listen.
