I was hooked from the first chapter. David Bendena's narration is spot-on, capturing the grit and desperation of Ethan Lockhart, a man trying to navigate the treacherous waters of prison life and an impending threat. However, I must admit, some of the secondary characters felt a bit one-dimensional, which was my only gripe in an otherwise stellar audiobook.
