The pacing is spot-on for comedic beats, lingering on Eros’ dramatic sighs and clipping the heroine’s sarcasm with perfect timing. But the emotional range falters in quieter moments—when the story pivots from banter to vulnerability, the delivery stays stuck in ‘wry observation’ mode, draining some tension from the romance.
