I devoured this audiobook in one sitting, and it wasn't just because Emily Ellet's performance was so compelling. Her delivery of Emma's sarcastic one-liners and moments of quiet despair made the protagonist feel utterly real. The pacing is brisk, with twists that land like well-placed punches. The only minor critique? Some of the secondary characters felt a bit underdeveloped, which occasionally slowed the momentum.
