Frank Arnold's narration is a standout feature of this audiobook. His ability to switch between characters, ages, and accents is nothing short of impressive. He brings a depth of emotion to each character, making you feel every ounce of their pain, joy, and fear. The story itself is a slow burn, with Doerr taking his time to build the world and characters, but once it gets going, it's impossible to stop listening. The pacing is steady, with moments of tension and release that keep you on the edge of your seat. The only critique I have is that some of the scientific explanations can feel a bit heavy-handed at times, but overall, this is a powerful and unforgettable listening experience.
