An Isolated Incident

Angus King's narration is the star of the show here. His Scottish accent and ability to convey emotion make the characters feel real and immediate. The pacing is excellent, with a steady build-up of tension that keeps you on the edge of your seat. Kirk's writing is descriptive and engaging, and the plot is cleverly constructed, with enough twists and turns to keep you guessing. My only critique is that some of the red herrings feel a bit too convenient at times, but overall, this is a compelling listen that's perfect for fans of international mysteries with a dark, atmospheric edge.
