Gutierrez doesn’t shy away from Israel’s rebellions or God’s harsh responses, and that unflinching honesty makes the biblical narrative feel raw and relevant. My only real gripe? The audiobook’s abrupt ending left me wanting more, as if the final chapter was cut short. Still, for anyone serious about understanding the foundations of biblical identity, this is a worthy listen despite its flaws.
