When the shifter elements kick in, the performance pivots seamlessly to something richer, almost *hungry*, without resorting to growls or snarls. Poon, handling the female leads, brings a mix of warmth and steel that’s rare—a seductress who’s also a scientist, her voice sharp enough to cut through Marvin’s bullshit but smooth enough to make his knees weak. The production is flawless, with no audio quirks to distract from the story. My only gripe?
