AudioBook Atlas

I was immediately drawn into 'Assassin' by its breakneck pace and high-stakes action. Olson's world-building is impressive, with a fortress-city that feels as claustrophobic as it is dangerous. Faline, the shapeshifting assassin, is a refreshing addition to the fantasy genre, her fluidity and unpredictability making her a formidable ally. Phil Thron's narration is top-notch, his ability to differentiate characters and maintain tension is commendable. However, I found some of the secondary characters' motivations a bit unclear, which occasionally slowed down my immersion. That said, it's a minor critique in an otherwise exhilarating audiobook that I'd highly recommend to fans of fast-paced fantasy adventures.
