As an avid mystery fan, I was hooked from the start, and Hillary Huber's narration was a significant contributor to the book's allure. Her delivery is confident and measured, effortlessly navigating the rapid-fire dialogue and exposition. However, I found the supporting cast to be somewhat underdeveloped, particularly the character of Annie Broussard, whose motivations and backstory felt somewhat glossed over.
