As someone who's listened to countless audiobooks, I can confidently say that 'Balthazar' is a standout. Michael Ferraiuolo's narration is exceptional, his ability to distinguish characters with unique voices and tones is commendable. The story itself is a rollercoaster of emotions, with Rylan expertly balancing tension, romance, and action. The pacing is near-perfect, never lingering too long on one scene or rushing through another. My only critique is that the ending felt a tad rushed, but it's a minor quibble in an otherwise outstanding listen. If you're craving a story that combines the best of paranormal romance, science fiction, and fantasy, with a dash of heartache and a heaping spoonful of love, 'Balthazar' is a must-listen.
