You Are Not Me

As someone who enjoys a good coming-of-age story, I was instantly drawn into 'You Are Not Me' when I first hit play. Michael Ferraiuolo's narration is a true standout, with his ability to convey the raw emotions of the characters without being over-the-top. His portrayal of Peter's internal turmoil and Adam's guarded nature felt authentic and engaging throughout the 10-hour audiobook. I particularly appreciated how Ferraiuolo captured the zeitgeist of the early 90s, from the music and cultural references to the evolving dynamics of Peter and Adam's relationship. My only critique would be that the pacing could have been slightly adjusted to create even more tension in the latter half of the book. Despite this minor issue, 'You Are Not Me' is a captivating and emotionally resonant listen that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a coming-of-age story with a twist.
