About This Audiobook

Free Fall is a thrilling, emotional rollercoaster that combines the adrenaline of high-altitude climbing with the raw, tender beauty of a slow-burn romance. Leta Blake's prose is as crisp and invigorating as the mountain air, painting vivid landscapes that transport you from the bustling city to the icy peaks. John Solo's narration is a standout feature, bringing depth and nuance to both Dan's stoic exterior and Sejin's warm, vulnerable heart. Editor's Review ★★★★☆

AudioBook Atlas

As someone who's always found mountain climbing scenes in books to be a bit of a snooze, I was pleasantly surprised by how utterly gripping Free Fall is. Leta Blake's attention to detail makes each climb feel like a genuine, heart-pounding adventure. John Solo's narration elevates this experience, his voice capturing the grit and determination of Dan, our stoic mountaineer, while also imbuing Sejin with a warmth and sincerity that made me root for him from the start. The pacing is perfect, balancing the tension of Dan's climbs with the slow burn of his relationship with Sejin. My only critique is that the ending feels a tad too neat, but it's a small price to pay for an otherwise excellent listen.
