Be Mine Forever

I was hooked from the first chapter. Patricia Rodriguez's narration is a dream, her voice perfectly capturing the eerie stillness of the Virginia woods and the tension that simmers beneath the surface of this seemingly peaceful community. She brings each character to life, from the steely Detective Jenna Alton to the enigmatic local residents. The story is a slow burn, but it's worth the wait. The pacing is deliberate, allowing you to truly sink your teeth into the complex characters and their motivations. My only critique is that the ending feels a tad rushed, but it's a minor quibble in an otherwise outstanding listen.
