Bear's Gold

As a listener I was thoroughly captivated by Bear's Gold, and T.L. Howell's performance was a big reason why. His smooth, expressive voice brought Riley's story to life, expertly conveying the character's fear, frustration, and vulnerability. One of the things that really stood out to me was the way Hines handled the relationship between Riley and her stalker – it was both deeply unsettling and uncomfortably familiar, and I appreciated the care with which the author approached this difficult topic. If I have any criticisms, it's that the supporting characters sometimes felt a bit one-dimensional, and I would have liked to see more development of the secondary plot threads. Still, these are minor quibbles in an otherwise engrossing and memorable listen.
