As I listened to Below Zero, I found myself thoroughly charmed by Hazelwood's writing and Peachwood's narration. The story is expertly paced, with a narrative that flows smoothly between the scientists' work and their personal relationships. One of the standout aspects of the book is the way Hazelwood handles the romantic subplots – each one is unique, engaging, and never feels like it's crowding out the main story. If I have one criticism, it's that at times the pacing can feel a bit rushed, particularly in the final act. However, this is a minor quibble in an otherwise delightful listen.
