I was hooked from the first moment I heard Rebecca Woods' narration as the snarky, yet lonely vampire, Elara. Her performance is spot-on, capturing Elara's wit and vulnerability perfectly. Michael Lesley's narration as the enigmatic human, Orion, is equally impressive, adding depth to his character. The story moves at a steady pace, keeping me engaged with its intriguing plot twists and well-timed humor. However, I found some of the secondary characters a bit one-dimensional, which was my only minor critique.
