Stephanie Quinn’s performance sells the tension masterfully. Her Bethany sounds young but never naive, and she nails the way a clever girl in 1890 would mask her intelligence—soft voice, deferential phrasing, but a pause before “obey” that speaks volumes. My only critique? The male voices occasionally blur together; the villainous business partner and the groom could��ve used more distinct vocal textures to heighten the menace.
